Franz Ferdinand Launch Fashion Collection

Franz Ferdinand stars Alex Kapranos and Nick McCarthy have designed clothes for a new fashion collection.

The collaboration, with Pringle of Scotland, coincides with the brand's 195th birthday celebrations.

Both musicians have designed jumpers, with Kapranos's depicting a hanging golfer and McCarthy's featuring the slogan: “Sign for strength, perseverance and confidence.”

Actress Tilda Swinton and author Alasdair Gray have also designed clothes for the collection, which has been organised alongside London's Serpentine Gallery.

Each item is limited to 195 pieces. Kapranos's jumper costs £650 and McCarthy's costs £1,295.
