Liam Gallagher: 'Oasis Will Never Reform'April 8, 2010
Liam Gallagher has insisted that Oasis will “never” reform following their split last year.
The group parted company in August after Gallagher's brother and guitarist Noel left citing “intolerable” differences. In an interview with Shortlist, Liam ruled out performing with the band again when asked what he thought of Blur's recent reunion. “Them gigs weren't as good as our gigs. No Way,” the singer replied. “But, they're all right. “They're in it for the money, aren't they? The fuckers. You won't catch Oasis reforming, y'know. Never.” Liam, who is currently recording a solo album, said his former band had “ran its course” and gone “in different ways”. When asked what he would do if he saw Noel, he replied: “I don't wanna see him. But if I seem him, who knows what would happen. “I'll probably end up fuckin' leatherin' him.” Meanwhile, Liam also said in the interview that he expected to release his new album next year.
