Coronation Street Bosses Want Noel Gallagher To Guest On Show

Coronation Street chiefs want Noel Gallagher to guest on the show next year.

2010 marks the 50th anniversary of the Manchester soap and bosses at ITV have confirmed they're looking for big names for the show.

Producer Kim Crowther told the Daily Star: "We are planning lots for the 50th anniversary; it will be must-see television. It would be fab to see Tracy Barlow back, wouldn’t it?

“I would love to bring Hilda back – and Mavis. Noel Gallagher would be great. There are also plans for some new faces in the factory.”

Last month, Gallagher said: “I’m not doing a solo album as I’m taking time off.”

“I’m enjoying bumming around watching Coronation Street.”
