Oasis Song Gets 'Epic' 22 Minute RemixFebruary 6, 2009
Oasis’ forthcoming single ‘Falling Down’ will feature a 22-minute remix by Amorphous Androgynous.
The band’s guitarist Noel Gallagher said the majority of fans would be “blown away” by the ‘Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble’ remix. “It's 22 mins long. I'll repeat that, TWENTY-TWO MINUTES LONG!!” Gallagher wrote on his blog. “I fully expect 50% of you not to have the attention span to deal with something like that but the rest of you, I hope, will be blown away.” He added: “It's a staggering piece of music. Monumental even. All superlatives will apply.” Amorphous Androgynous is the remix arm of Future Sound Of London’s Garry Cobain and Brian Dougans. ‘Falling Down’, released on March 9th, is the third single to be taken from Oasis’ 2008 album ‘Dig Out Your Soul’. The song already features a Chemical Brothers remix, which initially appeared online last year. (by Jason Gregory) See also: Noel Gallagher Backs LS Lowry Campaign (26.04.2011)
