Oasis' Noel Gallagher: 'I Don't Remember Anything Between 1994 And 1998'December 3, 2008
Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher has revealed that he doesn't remember anything that took place between 1994 and 1998, arguably the band's most successful years.
The guitarist told the BBC that none of the band had “any recollection” of recording their 1995 album, '(What's The Story) Morning Glory'. “I don't remember any of it. When we were coming up here 'Don't Look Back In Anger' was on the radio. It only took 12 days to record so they're basically a bunch of demos,” Gallagher said. “There was a massive fight in the middle of that so we had to abandon the studio for a few days. “None of us had any cameras, no-one had any mobile phones, it hasn't been documented and there are no different versions.” As previously reported, Gallagher recently discussed his experiences with drugs during the Britpop era. The guitarist claimed narcotics never affected him “mentally or physically”, and that he took them because it was “fucking brilliant”.
