Oasis Set To Lose Out On Number One Spot To PinkOctober 1, 2008
Oasis look set to lose out in the race to number one in the singles chart to Pink this week.
The American singer's new song, 'So What', looks set to jump from number 38 to number 1 in the singles countdown, while Oasis are likely to take second place. The band's single, 'The Shock Of The Lightning', is the first track to be taken from their new album, 'Dig Out Your Soul'. As previously reported, fans will be able to hear the record ahead of its October release on the band's website from 12pm today. Elsewhere in the midweek charts, Kings of Leon look certain to hold onto the top spot with 'Only By The Night', which is the second fastest selling album of 2008.
