The Dead Weather To Release Triple Decker RecordSeptember 15, 2010
The Dead Weather's next single 'Blue Blood Blues' will be released on a pioneering triple decker record, it's been announced.
The triple decker release, which has been trademarked by drummer Jack White, will see a unique 7” version of the single embedded inside a 12” version. It will be limited to 300 copies, with 100 being sold at the Third Man Records store in Nashville. White described the triple decker format as “one of the many mind games we like to play with you here at Third Man Records”. You can watch the singer discuss the special release in more detail below. 'Blue Blood Blues' will also be released on a more widely available on an alternate 7” vinyl version and a tri-colour vinyl.
