Doves Deny Split Reports As They Get Set For UK TourApril 6, 2010
Doves have denied reports that they are to split after their upcoming greatest hits tour.
Guitarist Jez Williams said recent reports that the UK dates, in support of their new retrospective 'The Places Between: The Best Of Doves', would be their last were incorrect. "It is our last tour for a bit. I never said forever," he told the Observer. In September, Doves told Gigwise that they wanted to record a film score before starting work on their next studio album. The band are due to kick-off their nine-date tour in Hull on April 28, before calling at venues in Glasgow (May 1), Wolverhampton (5) and Liverpool (8). Tickets are on sale now.
