Moby To Release DIY Album in JuneApril 14, 2009
Moby has announced plans to release a new DIY album on June 29 via his own record label.
‘Wait For Me’ was recorded in the producer’s home studio in New York and was mixed by Ken Thomas. The album also features vocal collaborations from Moby’s friends. "In making this record I wanted to focus on making something that I loved, without really being concerned about how it might be received by the marketplace,” Moby said. “As a result it's a quieter, more melodic, more mournful and more personal record than some of the records I've made in the past." The album will be preceded by the single ‘Shot In The Back Of The Head’, which will be available as a free download via Moby’s official site from tomorrow (April 15). The song features a video produced by David Lynch. (by Jason Gregory) See also: Moby To Release New Album 'Destroyed' In May (15.02.2011)
