Roger Daltrey Announces 'Tommy' UK Tour

Roger Daltrey Announces 'Tommy' UK TourRoger Daltrey will perform The Who's rock opera 'Tommy' on a series of UK tour dates this summer, it's been announced.

The four-date jaunt will see Daltrey perform the opera from start to finish, as well as Who classics.

The tour kicks off at Bridgewater Hall in Manchester on July 7, before calling at venues in Nottingham (9), Bristol (12) and Hull (19).

Daltrey's Who bandmate Pete Townshend said: "Great to see Roger performing 'Tommy' with his band in 2011. I will be there in spirit, and Roger has my complete and most loving support."

Tickets for the dates go on sale on Friday (May 6) at 9am.

Roger Daltrey's 'Tommy' tour dates are:

  • Manchester, Bridgewater Hall - July 7
  • Nottingham, Royal Centre - 9
  • Bristol, Colston Hall - 12
  • Hull, City Hall - 19
