Simply Red's Mick Hucknall 'Sorry' To 1000 Women He Slept With

December 3, 2010
Simply Red's Mick Hucknall 'Sorry' To 1000 Women He Slept WithSimply Red star Mick Hucknall has issued a public apology for his philandering with women.

In an interview with The Guardian, the singer claimed to have slept with “about three women a day” between 1985 and 1987.

“I never said no. This was what I wanted from being a pop star. I was living the dream and my only regret is that I hurt some really good girls," the singer said.

He added: “In fact, can I issue a public apology through the Guardian? They know who they are and I'm truly sorry."

Hucknall’s decision to discuss his private life comes ahead of Simply Red’s last ever concert, due to take place in London this month.
