Rod Stewart And Jeff Beck To Reunite For 'Mind-F*cking Stuff'February 2, 2011
Rod Stewart has revealed that plans are in place for him and Jeff Beck to reunite.
The pair, who first recorded together in the late sixties under The Jeff Beck Group, discussed ideas before Christmas. Stewart told Rolling Stone: "He's going up to record some tracks with his band in February in San Francisco and to send them over to me, so we're making progress." Stewart's manager Arnold Stiefel added: "They have some really clever things planned – it's mind-f*cking stuff." Beck and Stewart previously reunited in 1985 on a cover of 'People Get Ready' by Curtis Mayfield, and have long been hinting at recording more material. Meanwhile, Stewart was spotted having dinner with Ronnie Wood in London last night (January 31), sparking rumours of a possible Faces reunion.
