The Rolling Stones Team Up With Bill Wyman For New AlbumJanuary 4, 2011
The Rolling Stones have teamed up with ex-bassist Bill Wyman for a forthcoming tribute album to late pianist Ian Stewart.
The band and Wyman have recorded a cover of the Bob Dylan track 'Watching The River Flow' for the LP, due out in March. Details about the collaboration were posted on the Rolling Stones fansite, Ioor.org. The album, entitled 'Boogie For Stu', has been put together by Ben Waters, and also includes collaborations with his cousin PJ Harvey. Spinner reports that Rolling Stones members Keith Richards and Mick Jagger have also contributed to other tracks. Meanwhile, various members from the group have hinted that they may return to the road this year. (by Jason Gregory) See also: The Rolling Stones 'Have No Firm Plans To Tour' (02.02.2011)
