Liverpool City Council Launch Investigation Into 'Smoking' Lily Allen

Liverpool City Council have launched an investigation into whether Lily Allen smoked during a gig in Liverpool last week.

A review in the local press claimed Allen sparked up a cigarette at the Echo Arena show on Wednesday (December 9), prompting the council to start an enquiry.

A council spokesperson said that if it's found that Allen was indeed smoking this would be in breach of the smoking ban in the workplace.

Both the venue and Lily Allen would both be liable to a fine if found guilty of the contravention.

Anyone who witnessed the alleged incident has been urged to come forward.
