Lil' Wayne Writes Candid Letter Ahead Of Prison Release

Lil' Wayne has written a letter to his fans ahead of his release from prison later this week.

The rapper, who is coming to the end of a sentence for gun possession, said this chance was to “reflect” on his time behind bars.

He also thanked his fans, many of whom have written letter to him.

"I smiled like a child on Christmas," Lil' Wayne wrote. "But when I began to read them, my heart smiled.

"I laughed with some of you, reasoned with some of you, and even cried with some of you,"

The rapper also admitted that he had “no clue” what to expect when he began his sentence, adding: “I was never scared, worried, nor bothered by the situation.”

Lil' Wayne is expected to join Drake at a gig in Las Vegas on November 6.
