Leona Lewis 'Most Viewed British Artist In YouTube History'

Leona Lewis is the most viewed British artist in the history of video sharing website YouTube, according to new reports.

A promo video for the singer’s debut single ‘Bleeding Love’ has been viewed over 55million times since it was uploaded to the website last October.

Lewis, who won the 2007 edition of X-Factor, is the only British artist to feature in the top-10 and the video currently receives over 150,000 news views a day.

Videos by Rihanna, Timbaland and OK GO also appear in the websites top-10 countdown.

Lewis’s view count has been boosted by her cross-over success in America, where earlier this year she became the first British artist in over two decades to score a debut album on the Billboard album chart.

To date, her album, ‘Spirit’, has sold nearly two million copies worldwide.
