Lady Gaga Postpones French Gigs Due To Pension StrikesOctober 21, 2010
Lady Gaga has cancelled two shows in France due to the ongoing industrial action in the country.
The US singer was due to play two shows at Bercy in Paris tomorrow (October 22) and Saturday (23) as part of her Monster Ball tour. But the dates have now been rescheduled due to "logistical difficulties", which have prevented trucks travelling to the venue. Thousands of works across France have staged strikes over proposals to increase the pension age to 62. Lady Gaga's will now play Bercy on December 19 and 20. Fans can request a refund. The singer is currently in the middle of the latest European leg of her Monster Ball world tour. She is due to perform in the UK in December.
