Lady Gaga Slams 'Amateur' American IdolMay 7, 2010
Lady Gaga has criticised US TV network Fox after her performance on American Idol was edited before it was broadcast.
The singer pre-recorded a ballad version of ‘Bad Romance’ and new single ‘Alejandro’ for the programme. But viewers only saw her rendition of ‘Alejandro’ when the show aired on Wednesday (May 5). In a message on Twitter, Lady Gaga hit out at Fox and claimed the network had misrepresented her. “FOX POORLY + AMATEURLY edited + cut my performance/musical arrangement on idol. Watch real version,” she wrote. The singer also posted a link to the full, unedited version of the performance. On Thursday, reports in the US claimed the network had cut the singer's appearance due to time constraints. (by Jason Gregory) See also: Lady Gaga: 'Judas' Video To Debut Next Week (28.04.2011)
