Lady Gaga, Elton John, Sting To Perform Together At Charity GigMarch 24, 2010
Lady Gaga and Sir Elton John are set to perform together at Carnegie Hall in New York in May.
The pair, who played together for the first time at this year's Grammy Awards, will be joined on stage by Sting and Dame Shirley Bassey. The quartet are expected to perform a rendition of Dame Shirley's hit 'Hey Big Spender', as well as other songs. The concert marks the 21st birthday of the Rainforest Fund, which was setup by Sting and wife Trudie Styler to help protect endangered rainforests across the globe. In an interview with Reuters, Styler said: "It's a winning combination - we're going to have a riotous time up there. “Sting, Elton and Gaga will play together, and the boys will be performing with Dame Shirley, doing a great rendition of 'Hey Big Spender'." Lady Gaga and Sir Elton stole the show when they duetted at the Grammy Awards in February covered in dirt. The concert on May 13 will be followed by a live auction and gala dinner.
