Lady Gaga: 'I'm An Outcast From The Music Industry'March 4, 2010
Lady Gaga has described herself as an “outcast” from the music industry.
The singer, who has earned a reputation for her outlandish style, also said she felt like she wasn't part of the “celebrity world”. Lady Gaga, real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, made the claims on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross. "I didn't speak to anyone at the Brits,” she said of the recent awards ceremony, where she took home three prizes. "I'm an outcast from the music industry, I don't have any friends in the music business." Lady GaGa added: "I feel completely detached from the celebrity world, you never see me falling out of nightclubs." Elsewhere in the interview, the singer also criticised veteran Hollywood legends for ruining the mystic of showbusiness. "You see legendary people taking out their trash, I think it's destroying showbusiness,” she said. Lady Gaga performed two songs – 'Brown Eyes' and 'Telephone' – on the programme, which airs tomorrow at 10.35pm on BBC 1.
