Lady Gaga has admitted that she was teased at school and she used feel like a “freak”.
The 23-year-old pop megastar – real name Stefani Germonatta – made the comments in an upcoming interview with IN New York Magazine.
Gaga went to the private Roman Catholic school, Convent of the Sacred Heart in Manhattan and confessed to not fitting in.
She said: "I was a bit insecure in high school. I used to get made fun of for being too provocative or too eccentric. I didn't fit in, and I felt like a freak.
"I was always an entertainer. I was a ham as a little girl and I'm a ham today. I'm a songwriter, performance artist, daughter and sister, but I'm also an Italian girl from New York."
