Kelly Clarkson Rules US Chart As Lil' Wayne Makes Cautious DebutFebruary 6, 2009
Kelly Clarkson has extended her reign on top of US Billboard Hot-100 chart for a second week with ‘My Life Would Suck Without You’.
The singer, who made a record leap from 97-1 last week, prevented Beyonce’s ‘Single Ladies (Put A Ring On it)’ from returning to the top. Instead, Beyonce’s single is in second position ahead of Kanye West’s ‘Heartless' at number three. The rest of the top-five is completed by Lady GaGa’s ‘Just Dance’ at four and Taylor Swift’s ‘Love Story’ at five. Meanwhile, Lil’ Wayne’s new single ‘Prom Queen’ made a caution debut on the Hot-100 at number fourteen. The song is the first single to be taken from the rapper’s forthcoming rock album ‘Rebirth’.
