Kasabian: 'Lady GaGa Is A Monster'

Kasabian singer Tom Meighan described Lady GaGa as a “monster” as both acts triumphed at the BRIT Awards last night.

Kasabian were named Best British Group at the ceremony in London, while Lady GaGa won three prizes, including Best International Female.

Speaking on the red carpet, Meighan paid tribute to the US singer's originality.

“The GaGa's a monster, man. No one comes near her,” he told XFM. “She's a great pop artist and all that, but what a monster.”

When the band accepted their award for Best British Group, Meighan thanked the people “responsible for looking out for us”.

“You can't make an omelette without breaking eggs,” he added.
