The Cribs Announce Festival Warm-Up Gig

April 15, 2011
The Cribs Announce Festival Warm-Up GigThe Cribs have announced details of a warm-up gig ahead of their festival dates this summer.

The band, who confirmed the departure of guitarist Johnny Marr earlier this week, will play Coventry's Kasbah on May 20.

Singer Ryan Jarman said the date would be their only warm-up show before they play a string of festivals. He also asked fans on Twitter to bring him presents to the gig.

As previously reported, Marr has left The Cribs in order to focus on his solo work, but has hinted that he may rejoin the band in the future.

Tickets are on sale now.
