Madness, Ray Davies, Yo La Tengo For Meltdown Festival 2011Ray Davies will be joined by Madness and Yo La Tengo at this year's Meltdown festival in London.

The former Kinks frontman is curating the event, which will take place at the Royal Festival Hall from June 10-19.

Davies will play on the opening and closing night of the festival.

Other acts on the bill include The Fugs, The Sonics, The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown and The Alan Price Set.

Previous Meltdown curators have included Jarvis Cocker, Morrissey and David Bowie.

Tickets for the festival are on sale now.
