Slash To Auction Off Guitar, Top Hats And Car

February 16, 2011
Slash To Auction Off Guitar, Top Hats And CarSlash is set to sell off his prized guitars, top hats and car for charity.

The former Guns N' Roses guitarist will auction off his possessions, including the acoustic guitar used to record 'Patience', two signature top hats and a 1966 Corvette Stingray, Reuters reports.

Amongst the items is the 1966 Corvette Stingray, bought in the late 80s, valued at least $90,000 (£56,000).

Speaking about the auction Slash said: "I know that somebody would love to have that car because muscle cars are very, very popular."

He added: "I have a bad habit of collecting stuff that I don't necessarily use."

Meanwhile, Former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash has revealed that he would consider reuniting with the group if singer Axl Rose apologised to him.
