The band's new album entitled 'Pala', the follow-up to their 2008 debut, will be released in Spring.

"It sounds a lot more pretentious than it actually is,It's named after an island in an Aldous Huxley novel….on the island there are these parrots that are trained to whisper uplifting messages to the people on the island," Ed Macfarlane told 6Music.

He added: "The album is abuot enjoying the here and now."

Meanwhile, Friendly Fires and Warpaint are among the additions to the line-up for this year's Great Escape festival, it's been announced.
