Plan B Accuses X Factor's Cher Lloyd Of 'Plagiarism'

January 20, 2011
Plan B Accuses X Factor's Cher Lloyd Of 'Plagiarism'Plan B has accused former X Factor contestant Cher Lloyd of copying Professor Green.

In an interview with The Sun, the rapper-turned-singer said he didn't believe Lloyd was as original as she claimed.

"I haven't seen enough of Cher Lloyd yet,” he said. "I saw a video on the net where she said she had written her own rap on stage, then did a Professor Green rap.

"So I don't know if that's edgy, that's more plagiarism."

But Plan B – real name Ben Drew – went on to describe Lloyd as a “strong-minded girl” and said he hoped she would be able to control her own music.

Lloyd is currently in American where she is understood to be working on her debut album.
