December 11, 2010
Katy B Opens Up About New Album And New Single 'Lights On'Katy B has opened up about her debut album and the inspiration behind new single 'Lights On'.

The rising star, whose single 'On A Mission' became a top 10 hit, is looking forward to her debut album release.

Speaking about 'Lights On': "I was in a club in Brixton on my friend's birthday drinking cocktails having a wicked time and the lights went on," Katy B told The Mirror.

She added: "I was like, 'Oh my God, why hasn't anyone written a song about this?' How many times have you been in a club wanting to keep on dancing and the lights come on and you're left standing with your mascara all running?"

Meanwhile, Katy B supported Magnetic Man on their recent UK tour.
