Aerosmith To Record 'Old-School' New Album

November 5, 2010
Aerosmith To Record 'Old-School' New AlbumAerosmith are set to start work on a new album next year, drummer Joey Kramer has revealed.

Kramer said the group were “destined” to record another album and that it would be a return to their classic rock sound.

"It's going to be an old-school Aerosmith record," he told Spinner.

"We're going to do it the old way with the whole band [in the same room] and it should be a good one. We're all anticipating."

He added that the band had yet to demo any new songs.

Aerosmith’s last studio album ‘Honkin' On Bobo’ was released in 2004.

Meanwhile, Aerosmith’s singer’s Steven Tyler has been unveiled as a judge on American Idol.
