The Drums To Continue As Three-Piece Following Guitarist's Departure

September 22, 2010
The Drums To Continue As Three-Piece Following Guitarist's DepartureThe Drums have vowed to continue as a three-piece following the departure of guitarist Adam Kessler.

The guitarist quit the group unexpectedly on the eve of their US tour last week.

In a statement, The Drums remaining members said that “though we are distressed by recent events we are excited for the future”.

They also denied reports that they had replaced Kessler, and confirmed that their US tour and upcoming UK jaunt would go ahead as planned.

“We thank you all for your support and will see you soon,” The Drums added.
