Jarvis Cocker Records 'Birdsong' Album For The National Trust

May 12, 2010
Jarvis Cocker Records 'Birdsong' Album For The National TrustJarvis Cocker has recorded a new album with The National Trust.

The LP, entitled ‘National Trust: The Album’, features a selection of countryside samples recorded in the grounds of the charity’s properties.

The 12-track record includes the sound of birdsong, a game of billiards and lapping waves.

In a statement, Cocker, who produced the album, said it was something “something to have on in the background to aid relaxation”.

‘National Trust: The Album’ is available to download now for free from The National Trust website.
