Smashing Pumpkins Holding Auditions To Recruit Two New Members

March 10, 2010
Smashing Pumpkins Holding Auditions To Recruit Two New MembersSmashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan is holding open auditions to recruit a new bassist and keyboardist.

The singer said the group were using the method following the success of their search for a new drummer last year.

“We were lucky enough to find drummer Mike Byrne through an open audition process so why not open the doors again to anyone who might be interested for the bass or keyboard position,” he said.

Corgan, who is the only remaining original member of the band, said “everyone” was welcome to apply for the audition.

“As you can see from our past and present, age, race, or a person’s background is not an issue,” he added.

You can apply for the positions via the following contact addresses: [email protected] or [email protected].
