Former Razorlight Drummer To Join We Are Scientists

August 7, 2009
Former Razorlight Drummer To Join We Are ScientistsAndy Burrows, the former drummer of Razorlight, has announced that he is set to join American duo We Are Scientists.

Burrows has been holed-up in New York with We Are Scientists members Keith Murray and Chris Cane working on material for possible release on their upcoming third album.

“Andy was one of those guys but after he left Razorlight we got together, fell in love and decided to make a record”, Murray explained. It has also been reported that Burrows will play live with the band.

"I've always been comfortable behind the drums, but I've always written songs too and I had a bunch sitting around, and it dawned on me once I'd left Razorlgiht I had enough for an album", Burrows said of his forthcoming solo release to the NME.

Burrows released his first solo album 'The Colour of My Dreams' in May 2008 (with all proceeds going to charity) before leaving Razorlight in March of this year.
