Joe Lean & The Jing Jang Jong Scrap Debut Album

Joe Lean & The Jing Jang Jong have scraped their self-titled debut album, which was due to be released next month.

The band have decided to shelve the record because it was recorded to early on in their career and wasn't representative of their current sound, their manager has revealed.

Promo copies for the album were sent to journalists before the decision was made.

It's understood that the group will now re-record the album, which is now scheduled to be released early next year.

A statement from the group's record label, Vertigo, said it respects the bands decision and looks forward to the new version of the record.
