Jet To Play Outside Headingley For Australian Cricket TeamAugust 7, 2009
In a bid for some much-needed publicity, Australian rockers Jet are playing a show outside Headingley Cricket Ground in Leeds, Yorkshire next week in support of their native team.
The band will show support to their fellow countrymen before the Ashes test when they play a handful of songs on the periphery of the grounds at 10.30am on Monday. They'll be hoping to inspire the Australian Cricket team to victory in the crucial fourth test in an Ashes series which England currently leads 1-0. Hopefully a decent sized English crowd will be present to roundly boo Jet off stage. (by Scott Colothan) See also: Jet Announce One-Off London Gig In June (29.04.2010)
