Adele, Jennifer Lopez Retain UK Chart DominationApril 10, 2011
Adele has retained her position at the top of the UK album chart for a record-breaking eleventh week.
'21' now boasts the most consecutive weeks at number one for a solo artist's studio album in chart history. Bob Marley and the Wailers' greatest hits compilation 'Legend' was the last album to spend 12 consecutive weeks at the top spot. Katy B was a new entry at number two with her debut album 'On A Mission', while Glasvegas debuted at number ten with 'Euphoric Heartbreak'. In the singles chart, Jennifer Lopez remained at number one for a second week with 'On The Floor' featuring Pitbull, according to the Official Charts Company. Katy Perry's Kanye West-featuring 'E.T.' climbed seven places to number twelve, while Mann's 'Buzzin' featuring 50 Cent was up to number six.
