Cheryl Cole, Bon Jovi, Jamiroquai Enjoy X Factor Sales BoostsNovember 2, 2010
Cheryl Cole is on course to top the UK album charts this weekend, as several other artists receive X Factor sales boosts.
The Girls Aloud singer's second solo album 'Messy Little Rain Drops' is currently number one on the midweek chart. The album is 11,000 copies ahead of nearest rival Bon Jovi, whose greatest hits album collection is at number two following their appearance on The X Factor. Jamiroquai's 'Rock Dust Light Star' is also expected to debut inside the top-5 after the singer appeared on the show last weekend. Current number one Kings Of Leon are also expected to remain inside the top-10 with 'Come Around Sundown', according to the Official Charts Company. Paul McCartney & Wings are set to chart inside the top-40 with their re-issue of 'Band On The Run'. Meanwhile, in the singles chart, Rihanna is expected to climb to number one from number two with 'Only Girl (In The World)'.
