Prince Announces Surprise Welcome 2 America TourOctober 15, 2010
Prince has announced details of an unexpected tour, which is due to begin in December this year.
The singer unveiled a series of events, dubbed Welcome 2 America, at a press conference in New York yesterday (October 14). Prince told fans and reporters that the tour was best described as “what we’ve all been waiting for”. “I’ll will serve as master of ceremonies for multiple nights of entertainment that will feature so of the best artists this country has to offer.” The tour will include support acts Janelle Monae, Mint Condition and Cassandra Wilson.
