Rage Against The Machine Free Gig Attracts 120,000 Ticket ApplicantsFebruary 15, 2010
More than 120,000 people have registered for a chance to get tickets to Rage Against The Machine's free gig in London.
Tickets for the show, in Finsbury Park on June 6, will be issued via a rolling ticket lottery on Wednesday (February 17). The 122,215 registered fans have a one in three chance of attending the event, according to BBC Newsbeat. Dubbed The Rage Factor, the concert will celebrate the band’s successful Christmas number one bid last year. The group’s early 90s hit ‘Killing In the Name’ was catapulted to the top spot thanks to a Facebook campaign. Meanwhile, it has been announced that Rage Against The Machine are to play a show in Dublin on June 8. (by Jason Gregory) See also: Rage Against The Machine Announce Dublin Gig (15.02.2010)
