Hall & Oates Bassist Tom 'T-Bone' Wolk Dies Aged 58March 2, 2010
Hall & Oates bassist Tom 'T-Bone' Wolk has died at the age of 58, it has been confirmed.
The music veteran suffered a fatal heart attack at home in his native New York on Sunday (February 28. In an emotional statement, Daryl Hall said: "To say that I am shocked is the ultimate understatement. T-Bone was my musical brother and losing him is like losing my right hand. It's not if I will go on, but how. “T-Bone was one of the most sensitive and good human beings that I have ever known. And, I can truly say that I loved him." T-Bone Wolk had been performing with Hall & Oates since their 1981 album 'Private Eyes' and served as a co-producer on some of their records. He had collaborated with an array of artists over the decades, including Elvis Costello, Billy Joel, Bette Midler, Cyndi Lauper and Rosanne Cash.
