Guns N' Roses Play Surprise Gig At Oxford Music CentreOctober 13, 2010
Two members of rock band Guns N' Roses played a surprise gig at a music centre in Oxfordshire yesterday (October 12).
Guitarist Ron 'Bumblefoot' Thal and drummer Frank Ferrer offered advice and performed for students at the Witchwood School of Rock. Ferrer told BBC News he was “more nervous” playing in front of children than in front of an arena audience. "Here you're going to see every little kid's face,” he said. The School of Rock puts on workshops and masterclasses for children between the age of six and 18. Meanwhile, Guns N' Roses are due to embark on a brief UK tour, starting in London tonight (October 13). The shows mark the US band's first return to the country since their controversial appearance at this summer's Reading and Leeds festivals.
