Yoko Ono: John Lennon Would Have Loved Lady Gaga

December 28, 2010
Yoko Ono: John Lennon Would Have Loved Lady GagaYoko Ono has said her husband John Lennon would have “loved” Lady Gaga if he was still alive today.

The singer was criticised by Beatles fans when a photograph of her playing Lennon’s white piano emerged online earlier this year.

But in a new interview, Ono said that Lady Gaga hasd qualities both her and her husband enjoyed.

She said the former Beatle “would have loved” Lady Gaga “because she's an artist, she's fearless and she pushes every limit, which we both always adored”.

Ono added: “She has played on John's white piano and I think that's wonderful."

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Ono also said that Lennon would have been a big fan of the Internet, especially social-networking websites like Twitter.

Lennon, who would have turned 70 this year, was shot dead outside his New York home in December 1980.
