The Maccabees Release Christmas Song 'Walking In The Air'

December 17, 2010
The Maccabees Release Christmas Song 'Walking In The Air'The Maccabees have released a cover of the Christmas favourite, ‘Walking In The Air’.

The band have made the song available on iTunes following a Facebook campaign by fans. The version was initially recorded for a recent TV show.

‘Walking In The Air’ was originally written by Howard Blake in 1982 to accompany the film, The Snowman.

Meanwhile, The Maccabees are currently recording the follow-up to their second album ‘Wall Of Arms’.

The album, which is as-yet-untitled, is due to be released in late 2011.
