Glasvegas: Goldfish Prompted King Of Leon Tour BreakdownDecember 17, 2010
James Allan has revealed that he had a breakdown on the band’s support tour with Kings Of Leon.
The group were forced to cancel their last few shows with the Nashville band last year. In an interview with the Daily Record, Allen admitted that he found it hard on the road and that he had become strangely attached to two goldfish bought for him by his sister and manager Denise Allan. "I took the fish to the zoo and I was singing The Carpenters' ‘(They Long To Be) Close To You’ to the fish 33 floors up in a Chicago hotel,” he said. "I even took the fish into the bar. I remember sitting on the edge of the bed in my bathrobe with the fish in the tank on my lap, flicking through all the TV channels. God knows what happened after that." Meanwhile, Glasvegas are set to release their new album early next year. (by Jason Gregory) See also: Glasvegas Join iTunes Festival 2011 Line-Up (07.04.2011)
