Iron Maiden To End Eminem's UK Chart ReignAugust 18, 2010
Iron Maiden look set to knock Eminem from the top of the UK album chart.
'The Final Frontier', which is the heavy metal band's 15th studio album, is currently outselling the Detroit rapper's LP, 'Recovery'. Iron Maiden previewed songs from the record when they headlined last weekend's Sziget festival in Budapest. Meanwhile, Eminem and Roll Deep are going head-to-head for this week's number one spot on the UK singles chart. The London rap collective's song 'Green Light' is only narrowly behind the rapper's current number one, 'Love The Way You Lie'. The track, which features Rihanna, has already spent eight weeks on the countdown, according to the Official Charts Company. Chase & Status, who have today (August 18) announced an UK tour, are also set to make the top-10 with 'Let You Go'. (by Jason Gregory) See also: Iron Maiden Announce 2011 UK Arena Tour (11.11.2010)
