Nine Inch Nails Team Up With Gary Numan At Los Angeles GigSeptember 3, 2009
Nine Inch Nails were joined on stage by Gary Numan in Los Angeles last night as they played the first of their final four shows.
Frontman Trent Reznor told the crowd at the Hollywood Palladium: "This person had a pretty big influence on what we sound like as a band." Numan then played two songs with the band, including his own 1979 hit 'Cars', according to Spinner. The band's four scheduled shows at the venue will conclude their Wave Goodbye tour. Nine Inch Nails are widely expected to disband as a touring outfit after the jaunt. But Reznor, the only permanent member, has stated that he still plans to continue making music.
