Michael Jackson's Brothers 'Planning Jackson 5 Reunion'

July 6, 2009
Michael Jackson's Brothers 'Planning Jackson 5 Reunion'Michael Jackson's brothers are planning to re-launch the Jackson 5 as a four-piece in honour of the star, it's been reported.

Jermaine, Tito, Marlo and Jackie are said to be keen to pay tribute to their brother along with their sisters Janet and LeToya.

According to the Telegraph, the Jackson 4 could play a string of shows at London's O2 Arena – which was set to host Jackson's comeback later this month.

"We may rehearse after the funeral,” a family member has been quoted as saying.

“It'll be good and we'll do it right for Michael. Michael would have wanted the show to go on."

There has been growing speculation that the brothers would reunite after promoter AEG Live outlined plans to hold tribute concerts for Jackson.

It has been claimed the brothers could play five shows at the O2 before embarking on dates around the world.

The concerts would feature video footage taken from Jackson's comeback rehearsals, according to reports.

Jackson began his career as a child star in the Jackson 5 before launching a hugely successful solo career.

A public memorial service for the star, who died last month, is set to take place in Los Angeles tomorrow (July 7).
