George Michael 'To End Touring Career' In AugustJune 11, 2008
George Michael will play two concerts in London this summer that will bring to an end his touring career, it's been announced.
Michael's dates at Earl's Court, which have been dubbed 'The Final Two', will take place on August 24th and 25th. They mark the end of the singer's current 25 Live tour, which began in Barcelona in 2006 and will call in America before concluding in the United Kingdom. A statement on the singer's website said the “very special shows will naturally feature Michael's hits, some tracks not previously performed in Britain, and a stunning new stage set." Although the shows will end Michael's touring career, he is still expected to play one off performances in the future. As previously reported, the former Wham! Star is currently writing his autobiography, which is due to be released in the Autumn. (by Jason Gregory) See also: George Michael Says It Won't Rain At Royal Wedding (28.04.2011)
