Bruno Mars To Replace Rihanna At Number One On UK Album ChartJanuary 18, 2011
Bruno Mars is on course to top the UK album chart this weekend with his debut 'Doo-Wops & Hooligans'.
The US singer's album is currently 2,000 copies ahead of White Lies' second album 'Ritutal'. Current number one, Rihanna, is in third place with 'Loud', according to the Official Charts Company. Tinie Tempah's debut album 'Disc-Overy', originally released last year, has seen a boost in sales following his four BRIT Award nominations. Meanwhile, in the singles countdown, Adele looks set to top the chart with new single 'Rolling In The Deep'. Mars' single 'Grenade', which is presently at number one, is narrowly behind the London singer's track, while Wretch 32 featuring L’s 'Traktor' is expected to debut inside the top-5.
